All riders must read the HRT Safety document and complete the liability/waiver paperwork prior to engaging with the horses.
Minors under the age of 18 must have a Parent/Guardian complete the liability/waiver paperwork prior to engaging the horses.
All Children 14 years and under must be accompanied onsite by a Parent/Guardian.
Maximum rider weight shall not exceed 100KG some exceptions may apply.
A booking is not fully confirmed until it is paid in full.
Due to the nature of the experience, weather can generate conditions, HRT reserves the right to cancel or postpone a ride due to:
Bush-fires. illness, winds over 50km/h, thunderstorms and other inclement weather ie: excessive heat/rain.
Bookings are not tranferrable to cheaper/sale bookings.
Whilst we try to postpone a booking instead of cancelling, cancellation or postponement can occur due to any of the above, in the event of a postponement we can re-book your ride within 12 months without additional charge, via transferable voucher or direct booking, should HRT fully cancel a ride a full refund is applicable. Client cancellations (including vouchers, gift certificates etc.) are non refundable, however, some exceptions may apply.
Discounted and sale priced rides are available to local Tasmanian’s, HRT reserves the right to postpone and reorganise a ride.
Memberships can only be purchased by local Tasmanian’s. Codes can only be used by the buyer (non-transferrable). All rides can be booked if available, beach rides can be booked if I am already going.
“Riders Experience” must be filled in on our booking/inquiry forms. We reserve the right to downgrade and/or cancel a ride if expectations on rider experience are not found to be accurate on the day.
We allow riders to bring their own boots and helmets however we reserve the right to ensure that all riders follow the “Horse Safety Australia” guidelines and are equipped with regulatory boots and helmets that we will provide for your safety if we deem that your gear is unsatisfactory.
Alcohol is not to be consumed prior or during any ride.
Where group discounts may apply “group bookings” must consist of a minimum of 4 people.
Covid Policy
Should border closures prevent you from attending your booking, a gift card (valid for 3 years) will be issued and no cancellation or rebook charges will occur.
Gift Vouchers
All gift cards (other than special offers) are valid for 3 years from date of purchase.
Special offers are valid for advertised offer period.
Gift Vouchers are a non refundable product.
Second hand Gift Vouchers are only valid from original purchase date.
